In 2023, TekTone marked its “Golden Year,” commemorating 50 years of successful business operations. During this year, we also celebrated three more employees making it to 25 years working with TekTone.
TekTone held the 2023 TekTone Elite Partner (TEP) Conference in Chattanooga, TN, May 7-9. This conference was our highest attended conference in TekTone history with more than 130 registered attendees. The TEP Conference is an event in which TEPs gather to network and share ideas, as well as experience sales training, new product information and other unique training with peers and TekTone staff.
Highlights of the conference included the following:
-
- Steve Diggs, a well-renowned motivational speaker and author, was our keynote speaker.
- Breakout sessions led by TekTone Regional Sales Representatives and President Club members.
- President’s Club plaques were awarded to the top 10 TEPs of 2023 by TekTone President, John Mira-Knippel.
Attendees experienced Chattanooga in a unique way by having the option of riding on the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum dinner train or participating in the Sweet & Savory Kitchen cooking class. Both activities provided attendees the opportunity to network and connect with other TekTone Elite Partners. At this conference we unveiled three new Tek-CARE systems:
-
- Our Tek-CARE570 system is TekTone’s newest Wireless Nurse Call System. The Tek-CARE570 system is a versatile wireless nurse/emergency call system that offers a wide range of device options to suit the needs of many types of care facilities.
- The Tek-CARE750 is TekTone’s first Fall Detection & Monitoring system with Sensing by Vayyar. The Tek-CARE750 provides completely touchless, fully automatic fall detection that works in all lighting conditions.
- Tek-CARE400 GEN3 is the newest generation of our bestselling, fully customizable nurse call system. This system has completely redesigned patient stations with a revamped appearance and a brand-new snap-on mounting design, ensuring a clean look. The Tek-CARE400 GEN3 customizability creates a user-friendly system for both staff and patients.
We had other exciting accomplishments throughout the year. We gained 36 new Distributors and 26 new TEPs, for a total of 427 TEPs. We were awarded the Second Consecutive Year Gold Safety Award for 2022 calendar year from NCDOL and significantly increased our Community Involvement by participating in the following community events:
-
- We hosted another “Pink Out Day” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and made a donation to Macon County Public Health for the 3rd consecutive year.
- We provided TekTone employees Thanksgiving cards to fill out for residents of Macon Valley Nursing & Rehab. We also provided various Christmas/Holiday cards in December to be taken to residents that have no family to spend the holidays with.
- For the first time, TekTone partnered up with Grandview Manor nursing home in Franklin to help with their Angel Tree for their residents. TekTone provided gifts for more than 60 residents this holiday season.
- During the entirety of 2023, there was a food donation bin that was continuously emptied each month and donated to CareNet in Macon County. TekTone employees donated 420lbs of food to CareNet in 2023.
Thank you for being a part of this special year. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to what the 2024 year holds!
