ESL is new to the TEP program in 2018, and is certified to provide parts and service to TekTone customers in New Hampshire.

TEPs provide sales, installation and service for nurse call, wander management, and emergency call systems in hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare facilities. TEPs know the importance of system continuity in the healthcare market and maintain factory-trained technicians to provide service and maintenance agreements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist healthcare facilities with seamless operation. This successful program allows a healthcare facility to work directly with a dedicated distributor within their region. TEPs also have exclusive access to the Tek-CARE®400P5 nurse call system and Tek-CARE700 Wander Management system.

A skilled nursing facility (nursing home, convalescent home, care home or rest home) provides a place of residence for those who require continuous nursing attention. Services available in skilled nursing facilities include assistance of nurses, nursing aides and assistants; physical, occupational and speech therapists; social workers, recreational assistants; and living space. In some instances, residents may reside in skilled nursing facilities to receive rehabilitation or other therapy following an illness or accident.

Assisted living / independent living facilities usually have a campus-wide call system so a resident can notify caregivers by initiating a call from a personal pendant or emergency button press/pull. The systems specified for these types of facilities are usually referred to as emergency call systems or personal emergency response systems.
